In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, illegally detained Chairman of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Masarrat Aalam Butt, has sought immediate intervention by the international community to stop genocide of the Kashmiris by Indian forces’ personnel

According to Kashmir Media Service, Masarrat Aalam Butt in a message from New Delhi’s infamous Tihar Jail said more than one million occupation troops present in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir have made the lives of the Kashmiri people a hell just for demanding their internationally-recognized right to self-determination.

The APHC Chairman said under a wicked plan, New Delhi wants to change the Muslim majority status of Kashmir through massacres and settling non-locals in the dispute territory.

Masarrat Aalam Butt also welcomed the appointment of General Asim Munir as Pakistan’s new Chief of Army Staff and General Sahir Shamshad Mirza as Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee.

He expressed the hope that under their able leadership, Pakistan Army will grow further stronger to effectively contribute to sustainable peace in the region, especially through resolution of the Kashmir dispute.

Meanwhile, Peoples Democratic Party has vowed to thwart the attacks on identity of Kashmir by New Delhi.

The PDP Spokesperson, while addressing workers in Srinagar, said that Kashmiri people are united and well aware of the conspiracies being hatched against the regional integrity including the pitching of one community against another and one region against another to fulfill the nefarious Hindutva agenda.
