Marriage party attacked by Indian forces in Sopore, nine injured

Srinagar, August 21, 2016 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir a heart-wrenching incident, wedding party was attacked by the Indian forces in a village in district Baramulla.

Local sources told journalists that nine persons were injured in the incident after Indian forces showered pellet on the marriage function. The incident took place in Trumgund area of Sopore.

One person indentified as Parvaiz Ahmed Naikoo was severely injured by pellets. He has received injures in his chest and was admitted to sub-district hospital Kreeri in Baramulla.

In another incident of violence by Indian troops CRPF at Behrampora of Rafiabad at least 70 persons sustained injuries when occupational forces fire teargas shells and pellets on peaceful protesters.
