Maritime counter terrorism demonstration by Special Forces held at manora

Karachi, March 05, 2013 (PPI-OT): Special Forces of Pakistan Navy presented an impressive Maritime Counter Terrorism Demonstration here at Manora today. This was a part of the ongoing Multinational Exercise AMAN-13, being hosted by Pakistan Navy from 4-8 March 2013. The demo was a fine display of strength and interoperability of various elements against terrorism which also depicted prime dedication of Pakistan Navy with the present global concern over terrorism issue.

The demonstration included fast maneuvers by hovercrafts, VBSS boats, water scooters and Military Assault Boats, skim past by hovercrafts and boats, insertion of Air Assault Teams through helicopters, para-jumps by commandos, coordinated beach assault and reinforcement followed by extraction.

The event witnessed a high level coordination and professionalism by Special Forces. Pakistan Navy Special Forces conduct exercise on regular basis to keep abreast of the latest techniques in special warfare. Maritime Counter Terrorism Demo is a string of same scheme depicting firm dedication of PN to address concerns over terrorism issues.
