Srinagar, December 26, 2012 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani has reaffirmed the Kashmiris’ commitment that the liberation struggle will continue till the last Indian trooper leaves the territory. Syed Ali Gilani in a telephonic message from New Delhi said that the Kashmiri youth would oppose the occupation of India and subsequently a chain of reaction would continue till India shuns its stubborn stance on the disputed territory
He said that the unprecedented sacrifices rendered by the Kashmiri martyrs had centre-staged the Kashmir dispute at the international level and demanded that Indian troops involved in heinous crimes including killing of people and rape of women should be brought to justice. He made it clear that if he had been in Srinagar, the puppet administration would not have allowed him to offer and attend the last rituals of the martyred youth.
Syed Ali Gilani said: “No time period for the great cause could be fixed instead we should safeguard our sacrifices and snap ties with all those forces which will pave way for our success and we will achieve, the goal we strive for.”
Lashing at the administration, the veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader said that Indian occupation had proved disastrous because they had exploited the Kashmiris’ resources and devoured their rich heritage and induced the mischievous cultural incursion. He appealed to the world human rights organisations to take notice of the brutalities being committed by Indian troops and police personnel in the territory.
