Lawlessness graph is on Increase in Punjab: Sharjeel

Karachi, November 26, 2012 (PPI-OT): Central Deputy Secretary Information PPP and Provincial Minister for Information has said that it is a praise worthy measure of Supreme Court hearing regarding Karachi Law and Order case but the graph of lawlessness in Punjab is touching the last limits and supreme court must take suo moto notice over it.

This he said in a statement issued here on Monday. He said that measures taken for maintaining law and order in Sindh especially in Karachi had brought positive results. Police, Rangers personnel and other law enforcement agencies had been busy in protection of people in letter and spirit.

Provincial Minister added, ‘Present democratic Government of PPP has taken all steps for the welfare of people while on the contrary in Punjab it seems that there is Mughel dynasty and there is only one source of power and that is Shehbaz Sharif’.

He said that due to bad governance in Punjab the rate of crime like kidnapping for ransom, robberies, forced rapes were on increase. Even inefficiency of Punjab Government had caused death of dozens of innocent people due to the sale of substandard medicine.

Sharjeel Inam Memon said that it happened all this because a ‘Prince’ has concentrated all power in his hands and silence of the judiciary over the crimes of Punjab Government is a matter of question and the people have right to ask why suo moto action is not taken in this regard.

‘In next elections the Princes of Raiwind will be defeated and PPP will emerge victorious and will compensate all the injustices, committed by so called ‘Khadim-e-Aala’ he concluded.
