Lahore, March 10, 2021 (PPI-OT): Law Minister Raja Basharat called on Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar at his office to discuss the political situation and public interest legislation. Both also discussed the overall law and order situation and steps taken for the protection of life and property of the people. The CM directed to take every possible measure to maintain the law and order and added that no stone should be left unturned in this regard. The supremacy of law should be maintained at every cost as no violation will be tolerated, he stressed.
The CM maintained that the opposition remained busy in aimless agitation while the PTI government diligently serve the masses. The PDM leadership has lost its credibility and those claiming of holding long march will face defeat because the people will not become part of any attempt to hinder the development process, he stressed.
Meanwhile, PM Imran Khan has introduced a new trend of transparency and the government will continue to move forward for achieving the goal of a new Pakistan, the CM concluded. Law Minister said that every step has been taken to ensure the supremacy of law adding that more steps will also be taken. Meanwhile, the opposition should avoid dividing the nation, he added.
