Srinagar, July 21, 2014 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyet leader, Nayeem Ahmad Khan has termed the so-called Kousar Nag Yatra a deep conspiracy against the majority people of Kashmir and alarming Kashmiri Muslims of Indian designs.
Nayeem Ahmad Khan, who is under continue house arrest, in a statement issued in Srinagar said that giving tourism a religious colour is aimed at grabbing the lands in Kashmir so that Kashmiri Muslims are evicted from their motherland as Israel did with Palestinians.
He said, “The occupied forces were busy in grabbing our lands since decades together and now to give it a pace, Indian political leadership has taken the religious route. India is exploiting Hinduism to provoke its citizens to swallow Kashmir.”
Nayeem Khan said that Kashmiris were known for their religious tolerance but India had started taking undue advantage of the spirit which was unacceptable. “We have come to know that India is planning the so-called Hindu Yatras from more than a dozen places and the so-called Kousar Nag Yatra is just a beginning which is going to threaten the ecology flora and fauna of the region,” Khan said, adding: “After failing to crush the common sentiment through brute force India has taken Hindu religion route to strengthen its occupation on Kashmir which is definitely to shaken the peaceful atmosphere.”
Meanwhile a delegation of APHC leaders comprising Javaid Ahmad Mir, Abdul Mannan Bukhari and Hakim Abdul Rashid visited the SMHS Hospital in Srinagar to enquire about the health status of youths who were injured during peaceful protest against the killing of 9th class student, Suhail Ahmad Lone and the Israel’s aggression on Gaza. The leaders also visited the Ahsan-ul- Haq Wani, 14, who was hit by CRPF personnel bullets in Islamabad town.
