Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Govt establishes public grievances redressal and accountability Cell

Peshawar, June 27, 2013 (PPI-OT): In order to establish corruption free public service oriented, efficient and accountable governance system, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has established “Public Grievances Redressal and Accountability Cell” in the public Health Engineering Department.

The Public Grievances Redressal and Accountability Cell” shall receive, enquire/investigate and report upon public complaints regarding corruption, mismanagement and lack of interest of government servants, in public service. Public complaints duly substantiated by enquiry reports will be processed for remedial action to resolve the public grievance and simultaneous action against the government servant concerned.

Public complaints may be communicated through personal audience, written complaints through post/courier service, e-mail, media reports or any other appropriate means of communication.
