Peshawar: MPA Ms. Yasmin Zia Marwat has said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government was striving hard for extending of employment opportunities and provision of jobs to the unemployed graduates and skilled youths on priority basis and for this purpose various schemes have been initiated.
She was addressing a function in Tajazai Lakki Marwat wherein cheques of compensation amount to the unemployed postgraduates on behalf of Social Welfare Department were distributed. On this occasion, DCO Lakki Marwat Nisar Ahmad, Chairman District Zakat Committee Mamraiz Khan, officers of Social Welfare Department and local leaders of ANP including Fazle Rahim Khan and Malik Ali Sarwar were also present.
Earlier, Ms. Yasmin Zia Marwat handed over a cheque of Rs. One million for construction of Lakki Bar Building as per announcement of the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Amir Haider Khan Hoti. She also inspected the under-construction building of Lakki Bar and expressed satisfaction over the pace of work.
She said that the ANP has not only implemented in letter and spirit its manifesto in the last three years, but has also completed various schemes of people’s welfare on priority basis. Adding that besides all legitimate rights of the province have been achieved from centre which also include the due rights and the power profit of the province as per NFC Award.
She added that ANP has now started the new journey of progress and prosperity after restoring peace and foiling the militancy in the province. Youths were the future of the nation, she said and added that the government was taking all possible steps for their welfare and provision of employment opportunities to them. She stressed upon the youth to strengthen the hands of the sitting provincial government and ANP leadership for ensuring revolution of peace and development in the province, she concluded.
