KC London pays tributes to Chaudhry Ghulam Abbas

London, December 18, 2012 (PPI-OT): The Executive Director of Kashmir Centre London, Professor Nazir Ahmad Shawl paying tributes to the prominent leader of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhry Ghulam Abbas, described him as a champion of freedom, justice and righteousness.

The Advisory Council of the Kashmir Centre London held a meeting to commemorate the 45th death anniversary of the Kashmiri leader. The meeting, chaired by Professor Nazir Ahmad Shawl, was attended by Raja Mohammed Ayub, President Advisory Council, Sabir Hussain, Chief Coordinator, Shoaib Akhtar Nazish, Media Advisor, Raja Eshaq Khan, member Advisory Council, and Raja Mohammed Saroop Khan.

Professor Shawl said that Chaudhry Ghulam Abbas was a principled man who stood for the rights of his people until his last breath, said a press release issued by the Centre. “He declared that the people of Jammu and Kashmir should have the right to self-determination for choosing their political destiny.

His sacred mission needs to be completed. The best tribute to him is to take the freedom struggle to its logical conclusion and redeem the right of self-determination to the people of Jammu and Kashmir,” the meeting observed.
