Kashmiris’ sacrifices won’t be allowed to go waste

Srinagar, March 30, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference has said that the people of Kashmir have rendered unprecedented and countless sacrifices for the Kashmir cause and their struggle would not be allowed to go waste. The APHC meeting, presided over by Hurriyet Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, reiterated the demand for return of the body of Muhammad Afzal Guru to his family for proper burial in the territory.

The participants of the meeting said that Afzal Guru’s execution was based on political considerations. The meeting decided that the APHC would step up its efforts to highlight the Kashmir dispute at the global level and in this regard letters would be dispatched to the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the European Union (EU), seeking their role for its settlement. It also paid glowing tributes to martyred liberation leaders, Ashfaq Majeed Wani and Shabbir Ahmed Siddiqui, on their martyrdom anniversaries saying their mission would be accomplished at all costs.

The meeting also paid rich tributes to Kashmiri martyrs including Ashfaq Majeed Wani and Shabbir Ahmad Siddiqui on their martyrdom anniversaries and reiterated the Kashmiris’ resolve to continue liberation movement till its logical conclusion.

The meeting was attended among others by Professor Abdul Ghani Butt, Maulana Abbas Ansari, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi, Bilal Ghani Lone, Mukhtar Ahmed Waza, Musaddiq Aadil, Zafar Akbar Butt, Syed Bashir Andrabi, Syed Saleem Gilani, Abdul Manan Bukhari, Chaudhary Shaheen and Mushtaq Sofi. The APHC leaders said that Kashmir dispute was the main cause of tension between Pakistan and India and both the countries should resolve it in accordance with the Kashmiris’ aspirations.
