Kashmiris in UK asked to protest against Modi’s visit

Srinagar, November 12, 2015 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, The Jammu and Kashmir National Front Chairman, Nayeem Ahmad Khan has appealed to Kashmiris living in the United Kingdom to hold protests against the visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the country. Nayeem Ahmad Khan in a statement issued in Srinagar said, “Narendra Modi is Prime Minister of the country that has kept us under military occupation for decades. So, I appeal all of you to hold strong protest against him.”

“Indian forces killed our one more son—Gowhar Nazir—four days back when Modi was in Srinagar to address a rally,” he added. Meanwhile, he condemned the curbs and restrictions imposed by the authorities on the chaharum of the martyred engineering student, Gowhar Ahmad Dar. “It is utter madness not to allow people to mourn the killing of their brethren. Restricting people every now and then is nothing but arrogance,” he deplored.
