Kashmiri Pandit leader blames India for alienation

Srinagar, March 11, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Kashmiri Pandit leader, Shiban Dudha has held India responsible for growing alienation of the Kashmiris from New Delhi.

Dudha in a statement in Srinagar said, “Since independence, the policies and approach of India towards Kashmir smacks of imperialism, hollowness and insincerity.”

“The growing trends and rising graph in new present alienation of people of Kashmir is directly proportional and due to continued delay in returning the mortal remains of Afzal Guru to his family, which is a just demand under International laws,” he said.
“As a son of the soil, Afzal Guru belonged to Kashmir and like any Kashmiri his burial must be done in the soil to which he belongs,” he added.

Dudha advised Kashmir policy makers at New Delhi to visit Kashmir especially hometown of Afzal Guru and gauge the natural indifference of one and all towards Indian policies and these policy-makers.
