Kashmir settlement vital for regional peace: APHC

Srinagar, January 08, 2016 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) has said that the permanent settlement of the lingering Kashmir dispute is essential for peace in the region. The APHC leaders, Muhammad Musadiq Aadil, Ghulam Nabi Zaki, Abdul Majeed Wani, Ghulam Hassan Mir and Jaffar Kashmiri addressing public gatherings in different areas of Pattan in Baramulla district said that the Kashmiri people had rendered sacrifices for securing their right to self-determination.

They said that the Kashmiris’ sacrifices would not be allowed to go waste and the ongoing freedom movement would be continued till the settlement of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the aspirations of people of Jammu and Kashmir. The APHC leaders paid glowing tributes to the people of Kashmir for showing steadfastness and carrying on the liberation movement, despite all odds.
