Karachi, March 03, 2014 (PPI-OT): The Whole 9 Yards (TW9Y) with the collaboration of Defence Authority Sunset Club organized 3rd Family/ Women’s Expo 2014 recently in the lawn of Sunset Club. It started at 2:00pm and lasted till midnight. Not only thousands of club members with their familes but also non members also enjoyed the program. Expo festivities took over Defence Authority Sunset Club with an abundance of local and traditional foods and retail vendors and above all a peaceful crowd.
The event was looking like a “Carnival” set up like a market, exhibiting a diverse collection of clothes, accessories, arts and crafts, jewellery and many more. Shoppers had the opportunity to browse through handmade items infused with creativity.
Mrs. Shaheen Sarang and Ishrat Bandukda of TW9Y said that we are committed to safe, secure, and enjoyable events. Our goal is to support and enhance Pakistan’s up-and-coming entrepreneur range by attracting professional opportunities and engaging a community of passionate entrepreneurs with similar mindsets. They said we are thankful to Col Naeem Azher, because without his support and cooperation it was next to impossible to organize.
Sunset Club Secretary. Lt Col (retd) Naeem Azhar Khan, said that last year there was also wonderful expo and this year the program is in front of you. He added our city needs these types of recreational activities.
Photo session with Jimmy’s Pets, Jewellry with name on rice, Caricature, Hiba Magazine, Working Women Trust, APWA, Hamnasheen Welfare trust are few names to mention. Cooking Queen was the segment where the winner was awarded crown by prominent cooking expert Zubaida Aapa. There were different games and activities where guests participated enthusiastically and collected gift hampers.
The most interesting aspect of the event was the live Pakistan and India cricket match on big screen, thousands of guests watched the nerves breaking last over’s of Pakistani inning and celebrated the victory in really a wonderful manner.
Film actress and singer Muskan Jay also vested the expo and she sang songs. Late night local musical pop band performed live on the stage and entertained the audience. TW9Y is not only an event management company, but also it socially conscious and care about the community as well. It works throughout the year in support of community spirit and entertainment.
