Karachi Metropolitan Corporation retrieves occupied land of Aligarh Boys Cooperative Society

Karachi, May 23, 2016 (PPI-OT):Anti-Encroachment Department Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) on Monday conducted an operation on orders of Sindh High Court to retrieve occupied land of Aligarh Boys Cooperative Society (ABCS). According to a press release of KMC, Karachi Metropolitan Corporation’s (KMC) anti-encroachment cell and Malir police recovered 80 acres belonging to the Aligarh Muslim University Old Boys Cooperative Housing Society, Sector 5-A and 5-B Deha Beti Amri.

Anti-encroachment cell director Mazhar Khan and team of anti-encroachment department launched a successful operation with the help of heavy machinery against the ‘land mafia’ who had illegally occupied this land which originally belongs to the society. Land has handed over to the actual owners. Assistant Commissioner Gulzar-e-Hijri Ishaq Dar, DSP Malir, Additional Director Moeen Ghori and others officials of the Anti-Encroachment Department and contingent of police were present on this occasion.
