Karachi: KMC Administrator Muhammad Hussain Syed has directed not to charge any amount for burial of victims of Bhoja Airline plane crash in different graveyards of Karachi.
He said this was a very sad incident and KMC stands with the people of Karachi on this tragic event. All possible facilities and convenience will be provided to families of those who lost their lives in the unfortunate incident near Islamabad in their funeral and burial.
In a condolence meeting held in the Civic Center under the chairmanship of Municipal Commissioner Matanat Ali Khan heads of different departments of KMC and other officers offered fateha for plane crash victims and prayed that their soul rests in peace and may Allah Almighty give their families strength to bear this huge loss.
Administrator Karachi said floral sheet on behalf of the citizens of Karachi would be laid on the graves of all the martyrs who were buried in Karachi. He also directed all district administrators and municipal commissioners to visit the homes of the families of deceased and express condolence to them. All possible cooperation should be extended to them so that they find civic bodies with them in this tragic hour.
Administrator Muhammad Hussain Syed said a camp was setup at Sakhi Hassan Graveyard by District Municipal Corporation Central where representatives of KMC were also available for any kind of help and cooperation. He also directed Senior Director Health Services to ensure burial of martyrs of Bhoja Air Crash victims in KMC graveyards without any charge and provide their families all possible convenience.
