Karachi: Administrator Karachi Muhammad Hussain Syed said that work on Karachi Greater Sewerage Plan (S-III) will be started soon. The project costing Rs16billion and funded by federal and provincial government and KPT would complete in 4 years.
He expressed these views while addressing a meeting at DCO Camp Office and afterwards during an inspection of the proposed site allocated by KPT at MaiKolachi Bypass for installation of treatment plant on Wednesday.
M.D KWSB Misbahuddin Farid, EDO Revenue Ganhor Leghari and other officers of city government and water board were present on this occasion.
On the visit of the location of treatment plant, Administrator Karachi was informed that he KPT would install the treatment plant on 50 acres land owned by Board of Revenue with a cost of Rs3billion.
Administrator Muhammad Hussain Syed directed officers to work out all documentation and formalities for this project so that work on S-III could begin at the earliest.
