Srinagar, February 27, 2014 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) will hold protest demonstrations against the Pathribal massacre in which Indian army killed seven innocent Kashmiris.
The JKLF Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the people of would not keep silent on the issue of Pathribal and protest to bring the killers to justice would continue.
He said that the JKLF would leave no stone unturned and would continue protest against the oppressive attitude of Indian troops. He said that as a first step his party had decided to organize protest rallies and on Friday it would take out a protest rally in Lal Chowk against this undemocratic, inhuman and oppressive attitude of the Indian government and its puppet administration in the territory.
He also has paid rich tributes to Shaheed Aashiq Hussain Khan of Maisuma Srinagar who laid down his life on February 27, 1989 at Lal Chowk. A delegation of JKLF led by Noor Mohammad Kalwal, and comprised Mohammed Siddeeq Shah and Bashir Kashmiri visited the residence of the martyr and paid glowing tributes to him. The leaders also expressed solidarity with his family.
