Japan-Pakistan Foreign Ministers’ Telephone Conversation

Islamabad, February 25, 2019 (PPI-OT): Mr. Taro Kono, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, had a telephone conversation at 11:30 a.m. (Japan Time) on Monday, February 25, 2019, with H.E. Mr. Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

Minister Qureshi mentioned that he had postponed his visit to Japan due to the present difficult regional situation. In reply, Minister Kono expressed his regret over the postponement and expected Minister Qureshi’s early visit to Japan. The two Ministers agreed to rearrange the visit at the working level.
