Islamabad Traffic Police kicks off campaign to ensure lane discipline

Islamabad: Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) on Wednesday formally inaugurated the campaign to ensure further disciplined traffic system in the city and avoid lane violation which may cause severe accidents and damage to vehicles.

Following the directions of SSP (Traffic) Dr. Moeen Masood , a survey was conducted in the city to know the ration of accidents and main reasons behind them. After this survey, ITP has decided to start campaign to ensure lance discipline and various stakeholders joined this campaign including students from educational institutions and volunteers.

SP (Traffic) Mir Vais Niaz on Wednesday kicked off this campaign at Kalsoom Plaza Chowk along with students of Fountain Head School F-7/1. Students through banners and placards tried to disseminate message regarding lane discipline.

They briefed the road users along with SP about the advantages of following lanes. SP (Traffic) said that this campaign will continue to ensure improvement in traffic system.

Director Fountain Head Scholl Colonel Zafar and Principal Shaista Zafar have appreciated this gesture of ITP and ensured full cooperation with police.
