ISESCO condemns Israel’s temporal division of Al-Aqsa Mosque

Rabat (IINA) The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) condemned the radical changes introduced by Israeli occupation authorities to regulate the entry of Muslims to Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Based on these temporal changes, Muslim worshippers will be denied entry to Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in the morning hours, while the Jews will be permitted free access to the compound, under the protection of the Israeli security forces.

ISESCO stated that this criminal act, which violates the sanctity of first of the two Qiblas and third of the holiest mosques for 1.5 billion Muslims, is contrary to international law, provocative to Muslim sensitivities and aggressive toward their holy sites.

The Organization called on member states to take a strong position in international forums to halt this blatant aggression.
