Iran invites Firdous Ashiq Awan for international health conference at Mashad

Islamabad, December 11, 2012 (PPI-OT): Iranian Charge D’ Affairs H.E Hossein Ravesh today called on Federal Minister for National Regulations and Services Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan at her office.

H.E. Hossein Ravesh was here to formally invite Federal Minister Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan, to International Health Tourism Conference scheduled on 18 to 19 December, 2012 at Mashad, Iran.

Talking to H.E Iranian Charge D’ Affairs Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan said that her visit to Iran would strengthen the mutual relations in Health Sector. She appreciated the quality of Health services available to Iranian people that is the result of Iranian Government’s successful health reforms. She apprised the participants of the meeting that thousands of foreigners arrive at Iran from across the world for Diagnostic procedures and major surgeries.

Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan thanked Iranian Ambassador for invitation and told that Iran is contributing a lot to share its experiences with all regional countries. She added that the representation of Pakistan through her participation will not only strengthen the existing linkages in Health Sector, but would also explore new avenues in medical cooperation.
