Iqbal Haider will be remembered for his meritorious services and contributions to the country: Naik

Islamabad, November 12, 2012 (PPI-OT): The Federal Law Minister, Mr. Farooq H. Naik while expressing condolence at the death Syed Iqbal Haider, said that, he was a man of arts, who shall long be remembered for his meritorious services and contributions to the country, cause of democracy, upholding and protection of human rights and peoples welfare.

Mr. Farooq H. Naik further said that the Former Minister for Law and Justice, late Syed Iqbal Haider was a parliamentarian par excellence. He stood distinguished for upholding highest parliamentary and democratic norms, while his legal acumen, political sagacity and vision remained his hallmark throughout his life. He was also an active campaigner for peace in the region, and his death is an irreparable loss for civil society and democracy.

He also prayed for eternal rest of the departed soul and courage and fortitude to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss with fortitude.
