IPP discusses latest situation in occupied Kashmir

Srinagar, April 12, 2015 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Islamic Political Party Jammu and Kashmir (IPP-JK) Sunday held an urgent meeting, in view of the changing political scenario in Jammu and Kashmir wherein all the latest issues and developments with regards to Indian occupation and freedom movement were thoroughly discussed. Party Chairman and senior Hurriyet leader, Muhammad Yousuf Naqash chaired the meeting at the party office Braripora, Eidgah.

All the Supreme Council members and activists of the party attended the meeting. Muhammad Yousuf Naqash addressing the meeting said that the dispute of Kashmir originated due to the illegal, forcible, communal and criminal occupation of Kashmir by India against the aspirations of the Kashmiri people who are perpetually struggling and supremely sacrificing for their birthright to self-determination.

He said, “India is raking up such issues with a conspiracy to waste our energy, to destroy us in a tacit manner, to divert our attention from our basic mission and to prolong its illegal occupation.” Keeping in view such well calculated and long-term conspiracy of India, Muhammad Yousuf Naqash stressed the need to be very much pro-active on basic mission. “The day our mission is accomplished, all these controversial incitements and provocations by India will cease to exist,” he maintained.

Commenting on the separate townships for Kashmiri Pandits, the Hurriyet leader said that the Kashmiris had time and again resisted every anti-Kashmir move or conspiracy by India and its local stooges and would continue to foil such attempts aimed at dividing the territory. Concluding the meeting, the party decided to increase its political activities and play pro-active role towards the accomplishment of basic mission of freedom.
