Lahore: In order to review and the effective implementation of the strategy to maintain law and order and to eliminate terrorism from the province, Inspector General of Police Punjab, Javed Iqbal, today reached Sargodha after completing his recent visits to Raheem Yar Khan, Muzzafargarh and Khan Pur.
In a meeting held at the office of RPO Sargodha, Rao Sardar Ali, under the chairmanship of Provincial Police Chief. All District Police Officers of the region briefed the IGP about the current status of law and order in their respective areas.
The Police Chief directed the Field Police Officers to enhance the image of the police by providing free and fair justice to the people, eradication of crimes and also by ensuring the safety of the people and their properties.
The Police Chief stressed upon the officers for expediting all pending cases lying in their jurisdictions.
