Lahore, June 20, 2016 (PPI-OT):To overview of the crime situation of the province, besides, the security arrangements on the occasions of Youm-e-Shahdat e Ali, Youm-ul-Quds, Jumma-tul-Widaa and markets during last decade of Ramazan-ul-Mubarik in Punjab, decisions of tight security were made in a video linked RPO conference held at Central Police Office, Lahore, today held under the chairmanship of Inspector General of Police Punjab, Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera.
All RPOs and DPOs through video link whereas, Addl: IGP Training, Capt. (R) Usman Khattak, Addl: IGP Welfare and Finance, Sohail Khan, Addl: IGP Operations / Investigation, Capt. (R) Arif Nawaz, Addl: IGP Establishment Punjab, Dr. Arif Mushtaq, Commandant Punjab Constabulary, Hussain Asgher, Addl: IGP PHP, Amjad Javaid Saleemi, Addl: IGP Legal, Ali Zulnorain, Addl: IGP Special Branch Punjab, Faisal Shahkar, Addl: IGP CTD, Rai Muhammad Tahir and other senior police officers of CPO were also attended the conference.
The Conference expressed its satisfaction over the security arrangements during Ramazan. It was also decided that on the occasion of Youm-e-Shahdat e Ali on 21st Ramazan-ul-Mubarik, the security SOP of Moharrim-ul-Haram will be followed. The conference also decided to provide fool proof security on Youm-ul-Quds and Jumma-tul-Widaa, besides to provide a secured environment to the shoppers during last decade of Ramazan by stopping all kind of crime in the markets and bazaars.
The conference also decided to lodge FIRs against those officials on their failure for not providing the complete record of their personal data for computerization of service role. All those SDPOs will also be issued show cause notices who were failed to fulfill their official duties in arresting the hardened P.Os, decided in the conference.
The PPO further directed the field officers that they should ensure all received calls through 15 by maintaining its daily diary. It was also decided that in field offices one I.T room will be established where an I.T cadre official will be appointed who will be responsible to monitor the complaint handling, 8787 service, front desks and other I.T initiatives. The conference decided that the arrest and lodging of FIR against the innocent people by involving them in murder cases will not be acceptable and if some officer / official founded to be involved strict department will be taken against him.
Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera directed the field officers to ensure the provision of relief to the people belonging to the middle class by stopping the motorcycle theft in Punjab. The conference decided that the staff of the front desks will be responsible to issue E-Tag to every complainant and will also be responsible to incorporate the complaints received through 15 besides the record keeping of their respective police stations. The conference decided to take strict action against the bank managers who failed to implement the security SOP issued by the police for the bank security in all over the Province.
