Inspector General of Police Punjab, Javed Iqbal has withdrawn the posting / transfer powers of DSP level officers from Capital City Police Officer, Lahore

Lahore: A letter has been issued in this regard to CCPO, Lahore, today. It may be recalled that IGP already has withdrawn all transfer/posting powers of such officers from all RPOs across the province. IGP also directed the RPOs to submit the record of all DSPs transfer / posting held during the last year.

Moreover, IGP also ordered to all the RPOs to furnish the details of the all old feud cases in their areas immediately.

It is worth mentioning that in order to review the law and order situation, IGP is personally starting his tours to various regions of the Punjab from today.

On behalf of Provincial Police Chief, CCPO, Lahore, Ahmad Raza Tahir and DIG Operations, Lahore, Ghulam Mehmood Dogar presented Rs. 3 millions, cheque to the bereaved family of martyred SHO Hadyara, Mian Arshad at his parent district Nankana Sahib.

DPO Nankana Sahib Dr. Haider Ashraf laid floral wreath on behalf of IGP at the grave of Martyred SHO Hadyara.
