Info Minister reiterates govt’s resolve to pursue agenda of development

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb says Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has become ‘irrelevant’.

In a statement today, she said the government is trying to fix the catastrophe wrought by Imran Khan during his disastrous tenure.

The Information Minister said inflation, destruction of economy and foreign relations, besides historic debt are all Imran Khan’s legacy.

She said the government’s focus is only on the problems faced by the people and committed to a clear agenda of development and prosperity of Pakistan.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said despite tendering resignations, the PTI legistlators are taking salaries and enjoying other benefits.

She said their acts of first resigning from the Assemblies and then filing petitions in the High Court, and neither returning the amount taken as salaries nor giving up benefits, vehicles and houses have exposed them.

She said no ‘face saving’ can work for PTI as the public is fully aware of their real faces.
