Indian troops martyr one more Kashmiri youth in Shopian district

Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism, martyred one more Kashmiri youth in Shopian district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir today (Friday).

According to Kashmir Media Service, the troops continued their violent military operations in different areas of Shopian, Kupwara, Baramulla, Bandipora, Islamabad, Pulwama, Poonch and Rajouri districts. The troops subjected the residents including women and children to harassment and vandalized the household goods during these operations.

Meanwhile, political analysts and experts in their interviews and statements in Srinagar deplored that India and Israel are cooperating to coordinate their tactics of occupation on Kashmir and Palestine. They said Narendra Modi-led Hindutva government is aggressively pursuing Israel’s Palestinian occupation model in the occupied territory to suppress the Kashmiris’ ongoing freedom struggle. They said Modi regime’s new domicile law for IIOJK is a reflection of Israeli settler colonial project.

The occupation authorities continued to keep senior APHC leader, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, under house detention and once again prevented him from offering Juma prayers at Jamia Masjid, Srinagar.

Indian police arrested scores of workers of rural child care centres when they were protesting near Press Club in Jammu in favour of their demands.

On the other hand, the High Court of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir quashed the illegal detention of eight persons booked under draconian law, Public Safety Act, and directed the authorities to release them forthwith.
