Indian troops martyr one Kashmiri in Rajouri

Srinagar, March 26, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops, in their fresh act of state terrorism, martyred one Kashmiri youth in Rajouri district.

The troops during a violent military operation killed the unarmed youth near Mahadeve Pokhra post in Naoshera area of the district.

The victim was identified as Mohammad Maqsood and no weapon had been recovered from him, an Indian defence spokesman told media men.

Meanwhile, protest strike was observed on fourth consecutive day, today, in Saraf Kadal and Kawdara areas of Srinagar to press for the immediate removal of the Indian Central Reserve Police Force camp from the area.

The people also staged the sit-in protests. They said that the use of pepper guns and atrocities by Indian armed forces in the old city had badly affected the health of people.

The protests demonstrations were also reported from Rajouri Kadal and Bohri Kadal areas of downtown Srinagar. Traders from these areas have called strike till the CRPF camp was removed from there.
