Indian trooper injured in landmine blast in Poonch

Srinagar, January 08, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, an Indian trooper lost his right foot in a landmine blast in Poonch district. The trooper of 3 Grenadier Regiment lost his right foot when he accidentally stepped over a landmine when he was patrolling in the area along with his colleague at Ravi post-Krishna Ghati in Mendhar area of the district. His right foot was blown up while other troopers had a narrow escape in the blast, Indian army official sources told media men. Meanwhile, a 55-year old civilian Ghulam Nabi Bhagoo was fished out from Dal Lake in Srinagar.
