Indian trooper commits suicide in occupied Kashmir

Srinagar, April 06, 2014 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, an Indian trooper has committed suicide at an army camp in Kupwara district. The trooper, Manoj Hangli, ended his life by hanging himself with a rope inside the camp at Tsuntary in Machil area of the district.

The colleagues of the trooper after spotting him hanging in the room rushed him to the nearby army hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. This incident raised the number of such deaths amongst Indian troops and police personnel to 311 since January 2007.
