Indian trooper commits suicide in IHK

Srinagar, June 11, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, an Indian trooper has committed suicide by hanging himself at an army camp in Udhampur, today.

Havaldar K Nagraj of Signal Regiment was found hanging outside the Border Road Task Force (BRTF) mess in Udhampur, a police officer said.

The body has been sent for post mortem, he said, adding that a case has been registered in this regard.

The incident raised the number of such deaths amongst Indian troops and police personnel in the occupied territory to 273 since January 2007.
