India trying to link freedom movement with terrorism: Gilani

Srinagar, January 24, 2016 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference (G), Syed Ali Gilani, has said that Indian policymakers are planning to provide a cover to the crimes committed by Indian forces on the pretext of so-called presence of Islamic State militants in the territory. Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the ISIL had no chance to reach occupied Kashmir. He said that New Delhi was trying its best to connect the Kashmiris’ freedom movement with terrorism to further victimize the Kashmiri people and malign their righteous freedom movement.

“There are no chances of the presence of ISIL in this region but these kinds of statements can provide a tool for India and they will try in every possible way to defame the just and genuine struggle of Kashmiri people in the entire world.” Syed Ali Gilani said, “If this organization would have any right direction and right planning, then being present in the Middle East, its first and foremost priority would have been the liberation of the Qibla Awal (Masjid-e-Aqsa) from Israeli occupation and they would have helped the subjugated people of Palestine.”

“India is trying hard to link the freedom struggle of Kashmir with terrorism and the Kashmir statement by the “Daesh” at this moment is very meaningful. There appears a dangerous strategy behind the curtain,” he pointed out. “The policymakers of New Delhi have already started playing the Daesh card against the Muslim youths in India and now they want to extend this circle to Kashmir so that it will serve as a cover to the atrocities and war crimes of its forces.”

Syed Ali Gilani said, “Pakistan has immensely suffered for supporting the right to self-determination demand of Kashmiri people and due to which this country was bifurcated. It is only the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the Army of this nation who are openly and fearlessly supporting the freedom of Kashmiri people.”
