India, stooges plotting to weaken liberation movement

Srinagar, July 07, 2014 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has said that India and its local collaborators are continuously engaged in hatching conspiracies to weaken the liberation movement.

Mirwaiz Umar Farooq addressing a gathering in Srinagar reiterated that the people of Kashmir, who had rendered unprecedented sacrifices for their self-determination, would defeat the Indian designs with unity. He maintained that Indian agencies were conducting immoral activities in the occupied territory to divert the attention of Kashmiri youth from the sacred cause of Kashmir.

Meanwhile, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference in a statement in Srinagar called for a complete shutdown on Sunday, the 13th of July to mark the Kashmir Martyrs Day. A peaceful procession would be taken out from Jamia Masjid Srinagar to the Martyrs Graveyard at Naqshband Sahib, on the day.

Rich tributes will be paid to the martyrs of 1931 at a seminar, which will be presided over by the APHC Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq at the APHC headquarters in Srinagar on Saturday.

On the other hand, complete shutdown was observed for the third consecutive day, today, in Tral against the killing of a liberation activist by Indian troops on Saturday. All business centers remained closed, while the traffic was off the roads.

Hurriyet leader, Mohammad Yousuf Naqash addressing corner meetings at Kakpora and Rajpora in Pulwama cautioned people about the nefarious designs of pro-India leaders, who, he said, were misleading people for material gains.

The High Court Bar Association of occupied Kashmir, APHC-AJK chapter and AJK chapter of forum-led by the veteran Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani, and Professor Nazir Ahmad Shawl at their condolence meetings and statements hailed the services of prominent Kashmiri jurist, Justice Mufti Bahauddin Farooqi for the Kashmir cause.
