Srinagar, April 07, 2014 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the veteran Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani has asked people to completely boycott the sham Indian elections in the territory and continue freedom struggle till its logical conclusion.
Syed Ali Gilani addressing a function in Bandipora over telephone from New Delhi said that vote was a sacred thing, which could not be given to pro-India political parties. He said that these parties were mainly responsible for thousands of killings and miseries of Kashmiri people.
The veteran leader said that India had no right to stage election drama in Jammu and Kashmir, which, he said, was not part of India; rather a disputed territory. He condemned the arrest of Hurriyet leader, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai along with dozens activists by police in Sopore. The event was addressed by Hafiz Bashir Ahmad Farooqi, Muhammad Yousuf Falahi, Bashir Ahmad Qureshi and others.
