Inauguration of new campus in National Highway and Motorway Police Training College

Sheikhupura: Inspector General NH and MP Wajid Ali Khan has said that the NH and MP Training College can be compared with any police institute of the world and it would be facilitated and upgraded upto international level.

He said that training facilities and academic level of NH and MP training College would be enhanced. He said that people are more aware about road safety which is bringing positive change in the behaviours of road users and public in general and in this respect the role of NH and MP is appreciable. He expressed these views while inaugurating the new campus in NH and MP Training College, Sheikhupura.

IG NH and MP said that it is a matter of pride that in a short period of 14 years, NH and MP has been able not only to achieve high standards of policing, but also sustained them. He said that NH and MP has introduced a new friendly policing culture which eliminated the gap between the police and people.

NH and MP has brought a change from hard policing to soft which resulted into public friendly system in policing. This has also brought a qualitative improvement in the society as well. NH and MP also introduced training ecology and work ecology by providing a compatible workstation environment. This technique is being used in all developed countries.

The IGP said that this training college is providing training facilities to all police setups of the country which would definitely brought a qualitative change in the policing system and society. The IGP also laid a floral wreath and offered dua on the monument of Shohada. In the end, he listened the problems of the working staff in a police darbar and issued orders.
