Inaugration of First Drivers Training School on Public Private Partnership Basis at Islamabad

Islamabad, March 14, 2013 (PPI-OT): A Driving Training School is established in Islamabad on Private / Public Sector Partnership basis. Mr. Zafar Abbas Lak, IGP, NH and MP on the eve of inauguration of the said institute said that the department is keenly interested in establishment of state of the art Driving Training Schools all over the country which will not only have latest tools, equipments and gadgets but also will provide comprehensive training with the help of most up to date syllabus designed by NH and MP.

Further, IGP, NH and MP said that the department intends to prepare drivers of international standards which will greatly help in reduction of traffic accident ratio. Moreover, in the recent past a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) regarding preparation of master trainers, scheming of updated syllabus and provision of latest audio / visual equipments for training of drivers has been signed between US Police and NH and MP.

Mr. Zafar Abbas Lak also said that it is obligatory for every citizen to follow and obey traffic rules so as to achieve and promote the culture of zero accidents and safe driving.
