Rawalpindi, October 15, 2014 (PPI-OT): In an endeavour to optimise their potential and to enhance awareness about life, an educational cum recreational visit of the youth from North Waziristan Agency was conducted by the Pakistan Army. Seventy Nine young boys from North Waziristan Agency visited various educational, military institutes and historical places in Rawalpindi, Islamabad and Abbottabad.
During the five-day long trip, the youth from North Waziristan Agency visited Pakistan Military Academy Kakul, Army School of Physical Training and Junior Leadership Academy Shinkiari. The youth TDPs (Temporarily Dislocated Persons) witnessed various training aspects of these military institutions including unarmed combat drill, paragliding, Crevice Xing, Repelling and Paint Ball Shooting.
The Youth of North Waziristan Agency were briefed about the lifestyle, Military culture and customs, during their visit of different places including the Army Museum, Army Central Library, Rawalpindi Golf Club, Daman-e-Koh and the Faisal Mosque.
The youth of North Waziristan Agency paid homage at the Yadgar-e-Shuhada during their visit to the Regimenta Centres and paid rich tribute to the Martyrs who sacrificed their lives while safeguarding the Mother Land.
