Srinagar, March 19, 2014 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairperson of Kashmir Tehreek-e-Khawateen (KTK), Zamruda Habib has strongly condemned the continued imposition of curfew and other restrictions and harassment of journalists by Indian troops and police personnel.
Zamruda Habib in a statement issued in Srinagar paid glowing tributes to a recently martyred youth, Farhat Ahmad Dar and expressed concern over the continued curfew and restrictions to prevent anti-India demonstrations in the territory.
She said that the Indian rulers and their puppet administration were using every tactic to weaken the ongoing liberation movement but would never succeed in their nefarious designs as the morale of Kashmiri people was very high and would take the movement to its logical conclusion.
Zamruda Habib demanded impartial probe into the killing of Kashmiri youth, Farhat Ahmad Dar and urged the world community to stop India from its atrocities on innocent Kashmiris and help resolve the lingering Kashmir dispute in accordance with the Kashmiris’ aspirations.
