Srinagar, March 30, 2013 (PPI-OT): The Jamaat-e-Islami of occupied Kashmir has condemned the continued house arrest of the veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani and the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik.
The JI spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar deplored that the leaders were not allowed to offer Juma prayers, which was a direct intervention in the religious affairs and against all democratic norms.
He demanded lifting of all restrictions imposed on the Hurriyet leaders and unconditional release of all illegally detained Kashmiri Hurriyet leaders and activists.
