Srinagar, March 21, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyet leaders have expressed their good wishes for the government and the people on Pakistan Day, falling on Saturday.Senior APHC leader, Shabbir Ahmad Shah in a statement in Srinagar on behalf of the Kashmiri people thanked the Pakistani nation for its unflinching diplomatic, moral and political support to their just cause of freedom.
The APHC leader said that friendly relations between Pakistan and India could not be established without resolution of the Kashmir dispute as per Kashmiris’ aspirations.
Another APHC leader, Yasmeen Raja, expressing her pleasure at the Pakistan Day, extended heartiest felicitations to the Pakistani people and government on the auspicious day.
In her statement, she said that Pakistan was a centre of hope for the oppressed Kashmiri people, who were grateful to the country for raising the dispute at all national and international forums.
APHC leader, Zafar Akbar Butt in a statement in Srinagar, said that the Kashmiris wanted to see a strong and prosperous Pakistan and hoped that it would continue its support to the people of Kashmir in securing their right to self-determination.
Felicitating the people and establishment of Pakistan from the core of the heart, the Chairman of Islamic Political Party, Mohammad Yousuf Naqash prayed for its security, stability and prosperity and hoped to see it emerge as most powerful and truly Islamic.
In a statement in Srinagar, he said that Kashmiri people had highest regard for Pakistan and extend warm gratitude for its unflinching moral, political and diplomatic support to the Kashmir cause and hope that Pakistan will continue its support to the oppressed and tormented Kashmiri people in securing their inalienable right to self-determination.
The Chairperson of Jammu and Kashmir Mass Movement, Farida Behnji in her statement issued in Srinagar prayed for stability and security of the country.
