Srinagar, August 01, 2018 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, Zafar Akbar Butt and Muhammad Rafiq Ganai while condemning the spree of arrests and killings unleashed by Indian forces called for settlement of the Kashmir dispute as per the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, addressing a condolence meeting at Danter in Islamabad town said that peaceful resolution of long-pending Kashmir dispute was possible only through dialogue among Pakistan, India and the genuine Kashmiri leadership. He along with a delegation visited the area to offer condolences on the sudden demise of one Manzoor Malik.
The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement, Zafar Akbar Butt, speaking at corner meetings in different parts of Srinagar paid glowing tributes to martyrs Mudassir Ahmed Butt, Pilot Nadeem Khateeb and Dr Turabi. He said these martyrs spilled their precious blood for the freedom of their motherland. A JKSM delegation comprised Ghazi Javaid, Molvi Rashid, Molvi Mushtaq, Khan Aijaz and Umer Jan participated in the funeral of martyred Mudassir Ahmad Butt at Barzulla in Srinagar.
The Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League General Secretary, Muhammad Rafiq Ganai, along with a delegation visited Kulgam and Islamabad districts and expressed solidarity with Nazir Ahmed Khan and Abdul Latif Wani in Islamabad and Khudwani over destruction of their houses by Indian forces, a few days ago. The Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) in a statement issued in Srinagar expressed solidarity with the family of martyr Mudassir Ahmad Butt of Barzulla, Srinagar.
