Karachi, October 28, 2014 (PPI-OT): The Home Department Government of Sindh has under Section 144 Cr.P.C. imposed complete ban on picnicking, sailing and buying eatables, toys and riding on horse, camels and motor cycle close to the beach throughout coastal lines of Sindh province including Karachi, Thatta, Sujawal and Badin with immediate effect upto November 02 due to Neelofer Cyclone expected to hit the coastal areas of Sindh as well as severe rainfalls, to minimize the loss of life and property in the wake of impending cyclone.
The Home Department has also imposed complete ban under Section 144 Cr.P.C. on swimming, fishing and other activities in the sea/coastal areas of Sindh Province including Karachi, Thatta, Sujawal and Badin for a period of 30 days with immediate effect.
The Home Secretary Dr. Niaz Ali Abbasi has also written an urgent letter to Commissioner Karachi and Administrator K.M.C to immediately take necessary action for removing the shaky sign boards and bill boards from the city to avoid any loss of human life and property, keeping in view the expected Neelofer Cyclone.
He has also directed that the people living in the Huts (Juggis)/ Kacha houses established in coastal lines area should also be shifted to safer place in order to save the lives of the people. Home Secretary also instructed to take all possible measures to avert loss of life and property due to expected Neelofer Cyclone.
