Holding public gatherings, processions against government will not minimize popularity of Pakistan People’s party

Karachi, December 11, 2012 (PPI-OT): Provincial Minister for Revenue Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar has said that the holding of public gatherings and processions against government will not minimize the popularity of Pakistan Peoples Party. Freedom of expression is the basic right of every individual but the politics of allegations and vulgarity should be avoided.

This he said while talking to various delegations here at his office on Tuesday. He said that Nationalists and Nawaz Sharif should accomplish their desire to nominate their candidates against Pakistan peoples Party in Sindh, ultimately opponents would face a bitter defeat. He added ‘The philosophy of Pakistan Peoples Party is the philosophy of democracy and equality.

It is a party of martyrs. Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto have given strength to democracy with their own blood. Now this party is united under the guidance and leadership of President Asif Ali Zardari and chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.’

Provincial Minister said that it is democratic right of every one to hold public gatherings and processions but no one would be allowed to create law and order situation. To maintain law and order is the first priority of the government. Jam Mehtab said that on Kala Bagh dam Pakistan Peoples Party had a principle stand. This project was against the integrity of the country and insult to the mandate of people of the three provinces.
