Lahore: On the directions of Inspector General of Police Punjab, Javed Iqbal a high level committee has been constituted for the safely recovery of two foreign nationals which were kidnapped from Western Fort Colony, Multan this week.
According to details, the committee will be headed by SSP Operations Multan Azhar Ikram whereas SP CTD Karamat Ullah Malik, SP Investigation Liaqat Cheem, SP Cantt Shahzad Asif and SP Special Branch Qayyum Qaiserani are included in the committee.
Earlier, IG Punjab along with Home Secretary, Punjab, Shahid Khan, Addl. IG CTD Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera, RPO Multan Mubarak Ali Athar, CPO Multan Mohammad Amir Zulfiqar Khan, DPO Muzzafargarh Munir Ahmad Zia Rao, Commissioner Multan, Khurram Ali Agha, DCO Multan Zahid Akhtar Zaman and investigation experts visited the crime scene.
Later, IGP presided over a high level meeting held at the office of RPO Multan here today. The members of the Investigation team, CPO Multan, Commissioner Multan including all Senior Police Officers of the region attended the meeting. Provincial Police Chief discussed the team about the strategy for the immediate recovery of the foreign abductees. The IGP also directed them to give top priority in this matter.
