HCJK appeals OIC to come and assist flood affectees

Srinagar, October 01, 2014 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Hurriyet Conference Jammu Kashmir at a meeting, which was presided over by Shabbir Ahmad Shah in Srinagar, today, while criticising India’s stubborn attitude called upon the Organization of Islamic Countries to come forward in a big way to assist in rehabilitating the devastated Jammu and Kashmir.

The meeting was attended by Nayeem Ahmad Khan, Shabbir Ahmad Dar, Muhammad Yousuf Naqash, Muhammad Iqbal Mir and Wajahat Qureshi.

The leaders while deliberating on the present situation of valley stressed the need of fulfilling every responsibility with regard to recent crisis that left whole valley in utter shambles.

They lauded the role of youth during the recent floods.

“The loss incurred due to devastating floods is such that it needs international aid. Unfortunately, India’s stubborn attitude in this regard reflects its fascist nature and mental sickness. India should view the situation under humanitarian angle and rise over political gains and allow international aid to Kashmiris,” the leaders demanded.

Appealing Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC) to fulfil its religious responsibility by assisting in rehabilitating the devastated Kashmir, HCJK leaders expressed hope that the organization would not disappoint them in any way.
