Having a curriculum board at national level after the 18th amendment is violation of Constitution: Chairman Senate

Islamabad, August 07, 2016 (PPI-OT): Chairman Senate Mian Raza Rabbani has said that having a national curriculum board at national level after the 18th constitutional amendment is violation of Constitution because after devolution of power, curriculum determination is a provincial matter. He made these remarks while speaking at a seminar titled Challenges facing the federation and the role of Senate, in connection with Senate 44th Foundation Day on 6th August, 2016.

Speakers of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, former chairman Senate, Leader of Opposition in Senate, PML-N parliamentary leader in Senate, Secretary Senate also addressed the participants in the special inter-provincial seminar among others.
