Srinagar, May 17, 2015 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League (JKML), headed by illegally detained senior Hurriyet leader, Masarrat Aalam Butt, has strongly condemned the harassment of people by Indian Army in Pulwama district. The JKML spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the Army had let loose a reign of terror in Ladoo area of the district.
He said that the army personnel were forcing local people to report in their camp after snatching identity cards from them. “The Army harassment in the area has become a routine matter,” he said. Quoting locals, the spokesman said that the youth of the area were mentally and physically tortured in the Army camp. “If Army does not stop harassing youth at Ladoo, it will have to face serious public reaction,” he warned.
